Tea is blended to create many flavors and essences, sometimes however, simple is best. Organic black tea leaves and organic rose petals blend to create the elegant tea that I am sharing with you this (Tea Review) Tuesday.

THE HUE
You know my favorite word to describe black teas: Amber-y. Rose Petal Black by The Tao of Tea is a deep brown hue that soothes the eyes and warms the soul.
THE SCENT
Camellia Sinesis and rose petals. These are the only two scents in Rose Petal Black by The Tao of Tea. It is quite pleasant to sip a simple tea from time to time.
THE SIP
Without 2 teaspoons of honey, Rose Petal Black by The Tao of Tea tastes like black tea with a hint of rose. The tannins in the black tea are well and alive. The black tea exudes an organic earthy taste and the perfumed rose softens the over-all steep and aerates the palette.
With 2 teaspoons of honey, Rose Petal Black by The Tao of Tea tastes most elegant! The sugars in the honey don’t bother with the taste of rose but rather stick to the black tea taste creating a classic sweet tea sip with a perfumed taste of rose. I enjoy this tea with 2 teaspoons of honey!
THE EFFECT
I am highly sensitive to caffeine so this sip makes me come alive! I usually sip about 2 cups of Rose Petal Black by The Tao of Tea in the morning to feel awake and aware; ready for action.
The smooth elegance of the sip enchants every aspect of my life. I highly recommend this blend for your most elegant tea parties…even if there’s only 1 in attendance…
